I bet it was a hamster, not a ferret or lemur, that ran across the road since you were in New Hampster.
I'm cycling vicariously through you, thanks!

Ted,

Best of luck in California, as well as with the rest of your 2012 racing calendar.

Also want to thank you for taking time to post an insider's view of the pro peloton; your goodwill towards the public is much appreciated. And you probably are already well aware of this, but even the mechanics on your team are like-minded: a friend of mine was riding in Switzerland last week when a stage of the Tour of Romandie passed by. One of the Liquigas mechanics offered to dial in his front derailleur, but then proceeded to tune his whole bike! (And it wasn't even a Supersix.) https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150690515901430&set=a.10150157310106430.289838.649471429&type=1&theater

I'm also serious about the offer to put you up over here in Maine (Acadia), if you are ever interested. We could trade for some tips on renting in Lucca (my wife and I hope to escape at least part of next winter there).

Best,
