"if you’re from New Hampshire, you have balls of steel and a taint of gold"
Who knew? I'm sticking with the chamois buttah myself.
An excellent interview in all respects. I hope Kirk heals up and KoS and Kirk reunite for some racing and more interview action later this spring. I have learned much from this.

Way to go New Hampshire! But don't forget about Jonathan Page, local Tilton boy killing it on the 'cross circuit. And he rode a Cervelo for a few years...not that I'll hold that against him.

Loved the interview. I miss NH (now in PA-MD).

As someone stuck in the "snowpocolypse" the problem with these southern folks and DC in particular is no one is actually from here. When the diplos and the people from countries and states that have NEVER seen snow actually try to drive in it they eff it up for the rest of us.

Also, not enough equipment or salt or sand to cope. I'm out here thinking. . .UNH wouldn't have closed. This is just snow for a change.

Also, normally down this way it may look like one or two inches of snow. But really it is one or two inches of snow on 3 or 4 inches of ice and see the above about not enough equipment, salt, or sand to cope. People don't travel with the stuff they need to deal with ice.

Pavement is now becoming a regular sight on the side streets only today.

Very cool.

Ted, I work at Pearl Izumi and we make all black aero gear. Since Pearl sponsors Garmin you should tell Kirk to get his hands on that stuff. It's called the P.R.O Leader Jersey and P.R.O Leader Bibs. Great for his training rides so that way he won't be asked if he got the kit from ebay. Nice interview and I love Kirk's sense of humor!

It's good to see some pro cyclists from New Hampshire really showing why the state is right up there on the list! Well, no, I take that back, it's just good to know there are some cyclists from New Hampshire in the pro-ranks. Awesome interview! Looking forward to some more but none will be quite as good as a fellow Granite Stater
